DAVe Warnke (see his Flickr photos), one of my favorite San Francisco artists, has a new show at Hang Art Gallery.  Shown above are “Chick” and “Elephant Man”.  We couldn’t resist and bought Chick for ourselves, but there are lots of other original and delightful paintings still for sale.  If you live in SF, you probably know DAVe’s work. His characters pop up all over the city as I walk around, in places where you least expect it. Spotting one is guaranteed to spread a little happiness.

Yay, we bought the painting on the left. I love DAVE.
