The new Philippe Starck Zikmu wireless speakers for Parrot are “sleek speakers featuring a docking station for an iPod or iPhone, surround sound technology and a broad range of wireless capabilities. The two speakers, which radiate sound from both sides, can be placed anywhere in a room and work without wires. The minimalist speakers are 2.5 feet tall, so are perfect for those seated on a sofa or at a desk.” Love the design but for $1,500 USD, they better sound amazing! [via mocoloco]

”Plushdepartment combines the power of computers with living, organic and beautiful materials. We create cases from ceramic and glass and concrete and wood. We add colour and style and pattern and line to what used to be a boring square box.” Designs range from shiny gold casings, sleek minimal black and white, to the PURE*ZENDER, an urban, street art-inspired computer and amplifier. The computers are Intel Core 2 Duo, 1000 GB hard drive, 2 x 2048MB highend Dual Channel RAM 800MHz memory, and comes with network gigabit LAN, USB, Firewire and more. Currently available for purchase in the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey.

"At one time, you needed a desk that could handle a mountain of paper, a two-foot-deep monitor, a printer, and a CPU the size of a Labrador. Today, your entire computer is an inch thick and your printer is in your closet connected to your WiFi. You have moved forward. It’s time your desk caught up.” My favorite feature of Heckler Design’s OneLessDesk is the rear-facing shelf that can hides your cords, power supply, external hard drives, and hubs. Comes in white or silver for $649 USD.
