With the aim to develop alternative, economical washing technologies that work in different climatic and cultural tendencies of the countries worldwide, students at the cole Suprieure d'Art d'Aix-en-Provence of France, came up with "Open Source Washing Machine Project". The prototype is prepared using bicycle parts (the tires and wheel), bamboo, and a solar panel connected directly to a recycled electric motor. It's a DIY solar powered washer that sucks juice from the Sun to help you do the laundry in environment friendly way.

Charles and Ray Eames augmented the interior "collage" of the Eames House with numerous objects brought back from their extensive travels. The figure of a black wooden bird - evidently one of their most prized objects of American folk art - has stood in the centre of their living room for over fifty years. Also seen as an accessory in many of the Eameses' photographs, the bird figure from the Appalachian mountain region of the eastern United States. Based on the original artifact and in cooperation with the Eames Family, Vitra is now producing the first series of this figure.

The "Nissyoku" by from Igendesign is an elegant lamp that draws inspiration from a solar eclipse to glow up your interiors in a unique way. The metal ring in the middle helps you turn ON/OFF the lamp. Integrating two panels fixed with magnets when moved on the concave surface made out of the intersection of the two globes creates a unique ambiance. Through the vacuum forming, the lamp makes use of a 5W high-powered LED in each panel. Hang it like the chandelier, place it on the table or use it as a wall lamp, it actually creates the unique ambiance.

Measuring about 120cm X165cm, this cool rug is gray color to gel well with any modish interior.

Named the "Four Works", it's a compact yet functional workstation with a fold-out laptop stand, table lamp and power connection. In all, its a multifunctional workstation that is blessed with cabinet for external hard drives, printers, all small gadgets and to place your coffee mug too. Available in high gloss white and pale black, the workstation just adds to the your workspace.
