Tel Aviv-based designers DEMO / design clinic have just debuted a series of lamps built out of plumbing parts. KOZO lamps are made of galvanized iron plumbing pipes, an innovative power switch, and electronic and ceramic parts required to house the light bulb. The KOZO parts come from around the world, and each part bares the trademarks of its country of origin. The materials are left raw and unaltered, including authentic rust at the joints and the marks from hand tools that were used in the assembly process. There are great images of the three different lamp styles viewable at the source site.
