Leo Livshetz's Tea Set
Designer Leo Livshetz created this angular tea set as a project for a ceramics workshop at Rhode Island School of Design. "The system of edges and corners creates a thick shell around the cup that does not overheat and allows it to be held comfortably without burning the user’s hand," Livshetz says of the set, which includes a sloping tea pot that rests on its handle, four cups, and a combined sugar bowl and milk jug.

nice design experiment, if it works ergonomicallly is difficult to say though. designers obviously don´t want handles anymore. .)
