At the interior design show IMM Cologne 2009, Pernilla Jansson's lighting installation, A New Proposal, is a draping cord of light that hangs on the beams. In her words: "My work is a playful investigation of things that surround me. Using everyday objects, sometimes already in existence, I create new visual constellations in a different context. I want to disturb the order of things and bring in the unexpected, make people wonder or smile. My inspiration springs from everyday situations and normal choices that end up becoming abnormal and unexpected for the casual observer."
