The Rock-N-Hold ceramic knife, made by Hong Kong based Silicone Zone, is a ceramic and silicone construction which has won the recent Red Dot design award; product design 2009.
The knife blades are made from crystalline ceramic, zirconium, and the cutting edge stays sharp for 10 times longer than traditional steel knives. (But don´t drop it on the floor!)
The handles are manufactured with recycled food grade silicone rubber.
