You can now download a free trial of the creature creator by the long-awaited create-your-own-universe game, Spore. I saw a demo at SXSW two years ago and it was highly engaging. “With Spore you can nurture your creature through five stages of evolution: Cell, Creature, Tribe, Civilization, and Space. Or if you prefer, spend as much time as you like making creatures, vehicles, buildings and spaceships with Spore’s unique Creator tools.” The game is also available for pre-order from various retailers.
