WXY Architecture's NYC Information Center
WXY Architecture has completed work on the NYC Information Center on Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. With its cool glass storefront, clean lines and glowing interior, the Official NYC Information Center could easily be mistaken for a modern art gallery housing the latest multimedia installation. In truth, it is New York City’s groundbreaking new destination for visitors and residents to find all they need to know about what to see and where to go in the City’s five boroughs. Developed in collaboration with media design company Local Projects, the Center allows visitors to create custom guidebooks and itineraries for their visit to the city, which they can view on large screens. Additional images of the striking interior space may be seen on the source site.
